Master Gardener Favorites,
Plants for North Central Texas |
The book, Master Gardener Favorites, Plants for North Central Texas,
along with an accompanying photo CD is now available.
In addition to specific information on more than 175 plants, the book also has sections on salt tolerant and deer resistant plants, oak wilt disease, firewise landscaping and watering. Included are a vegetable growing chart, a climate map, a gardening calendar and a gardening glossary
The book with CD is available for a donation of $20 to Lake Granbury Master Gardeners. All profits will benefit Master Gardener educational and horticultural efforts. The plant books may be picked up weekdays, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Texas Cooperative Extension office, Hood County, 200 N. Gordon St., Room 22, Granbury, TX.
